Perhaps in contrast to how easily mass-produced goods are obtained today, people are looking for a chance to express their individuality. If you are able to offer customization, or offer to curate offers to your customers’ interests, they are more likely to feel a connection with your brand. Granted, these are not words, but symbols conjure the image of tangible benefits for the customer. They are eye-catching, and instantly let the customer know they are getting 100% value at 20% off full price.

Consumers want to know they’re getting the latest, most up-to-date trends. Humans enjoy novelty. They also want to avoid the hassle of finding out that what they are about to purchase is outdated or decommissioned. If you can, highlight that

Now, who doesn’t like a freebie or two? People want to feel like they’re getting a good deal, so anything that is a bonus is always welcomed. Make sure your bonus is valuable though, otherwise, your audience will just feel cheated.

What’s the power behind secrets? Well, not only are secrets exclusive to a select group of people, but they also imply a sense of belonging to a community. People are naturally curious about other people, and by offering a “reveal” or a “behind-the-scenes” look, you’ll pique their curiosity and interest.
